The James O’Neill graduate was Section IX winner in Class B cross country in 1972, an Orange County meet 2-mile champion in 1972 (9:39) and the Class B 2-mile in Section IX Class B in 1972-73 setting a record of 9:05.1.  His personal best of 4:18.1 won the Class B mile in 1972 and e was third in the mile run at New York State meet in 1972 (4:21.5). He is the Section IX record holder in the 2-mile (8:55) which he set in 1973.

 

Curt also had a stellar career for Army (USMA), earning All-American honors three times in outdoor track, twice indoors and twice in cross country. He won the Heptagonal outdoor championships at 3000M and 5000M in 1977, at 10,000M in 1978 and the Heptagonal cross country championships in 1976 and 1977. Also an accomplished swimmer for Army he graduated in 1978.
